Artist Bio
Isa Lagan is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. She is of dual heritage, of Irish/American and Colombian background, and this cultural duality informs her work. She is a candidate to receive her BFA from Lesley University in May 2026 and her work has been exhibited throughout Boston. Isa Lagan primarily works in ceramics, painting, and printmaking. By using plant life as a metaphor, her work examines the tension between identity, environment, and the cycles of life and death. She explores a personal connection to both the landscapes of New England and the tropical plants of Colombia, as well as the broader implications of human interference with nature.
